MySQL
MySQL is a database designed to store relational data. You can store user details, email addresses or anything else you want. If you use a Content Management System (CMS) like this site - the content is generally stored in a database.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is a term that can be used to describe two similar things. The first is the amount of bandwidth or connectivity a server has - or the size of the pipe. More often then not though it is used to refer to the monthly allocation of data to or from a given server or service. For example, if you have a server with one Gigabyte of bandwidth allocated per month it means you could transmit a five Megabyte file over two hundred times.
Storage
Storage is the amount of space you have allocated to you on the server. As an indication most small sites with a couple of short videos use about 75 Megabytes of space.
Gigabyte
A Gigabyte is a measure of data. At Delatis, we use the recognised standard measurement of a Gigabyte being 1,024 Megabytes.
